An exciting opportunity to join our client's team at a fast-growing digital product engineering company with a global presence in 33 countries and over 19,000 experts and specialists. We are looking for an SAP System Operations Specialist to join this organization.
Responsibilities
- Ensure system operation, error analysis, maintenance, and execution of system updates for customer systems.
- Carry out basic projects such as release upgrades for ABAP and Java, including project management if necessary.
- Plan technology for SAP HANA and manage HANA migrations.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support in troubleshooting and performance services.
- Support presales activities for new customers in the area of platform services.
Requirements
- Business fluent German (C1) and fluent English (B2).
- Willingness to work occasional nights or weekends.
- Experience in setup and operation of SAP systems as well as upgrades, patches, and DB upgrades for both ABAP and Java systems.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Rise and SAP BTP.
- Sound knowledge in at least 2 of the common SAP databases, such as HANA, Oracle, DB2.
- Completed university studies in business informatics or computer science or comparable qualifications.
- Several years of relevant professional experience.
