Location: Bucharest, Romania
About the Role
Responsible for sales management, driving revenue growth, and ensuring long-term profitability for our specialized retail concept in Romania. This role focuses on the strategic development, supervision, and execution of retail initiatives aimed at maximizing sales, optimizing the product range, and elevating the overall customer shopping experience. Additionally, the role is fully accountable for leading, motivating, and developing the concept's sales team.
What You'll Do
- Strategic Sales Development: Develop and implement comprehensive category sales strategies for the concept to achieve revenue targets, increase market share, and capitalize on emerging sports retail trends.
- Assortment & Merchandising Alignment: Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to curate a compelling product assortment, ensuring alignment with customer preferences, brand standards, and seasonal trends.
- Data, KPI & Pricing Management: Analyse sales data, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement competitive pricing strategies to optimize product mix, monitor trends, and maximize profitability.
- Commercial Activations: Plan and execute promotional activities, seasonal campaigns, and product launches to drive customer engagement, increase foot traffic, and stimulate sales within the category.
- Visual Standards & Field Visits: Lead with merchandising teams to ensure effective product presentation. Validate concept standards, visual merchandising (VM), and assortment performance during regular store visits.
- Stock & Operational Optimization: Collaborate with inventory management teams to optimize stock levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory. Perform additional duties as directed by managers.
- People Leadership & Collaboration: Leads, motivates, and trains the team to achieve sales goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, store management) to align initiatives and ensure seamless execution.
What You'll Bring
- Professional Experience: Proven track record in retail sales management, with preferred experience within the sport retail industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills & Tools: Advanced proficiency in MS Office package; possession of a valid Driver’s license is required.
- Language: Advanced command of the English language (both written and spoken).
