Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide expert assistance on sports card selections, collections, and trading tips
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and organize displays to maximize visual appeal and accessibility
- Handle cash transactions accurately using cash handling procedures and casino-like point-of-sale systems (POS)
- Maintain detailed records of sales, stock movements, and customer preferences using Microsoft Office tools and specialized tracking systems
- Supervise team members during shifts, providing guidance on customer service excellence and operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with store policies and safety regulations, including proper handling of fragile collectibles and security protocols
- Resolve customer concerns promptly through effective conflict management and outstanding guest services
Skills
- Proven management and supervising experience within retail or similar environments
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate team members and oversee daily operations effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for sports memorabilia and collectibles
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with casino or gaming industry systems such as casino player tracking systems (PTS) is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling, inventory counting, and sales calculations
- Knowledge of casino operations regulatory compliance, especially related to cash handling and security procedures, is advantageous
- Experience with casino table games operations or casino industry standards can enhance your understanding of high-stakes environments
- Ability to manage conflict professionally while maintaining positive guest interactions
- Demonstrated mathematical aptitude and numeracy to support accurate transactions and inventory management
