Join our team at Play It Again Sports Oshkosh! We’re looking for an enthusiastic, dependable individual who enjoys working with people and creating a great customer experience. As a Sales Associate, you’ll be the friendly face that welcomes customers, helps them find the right products, and contributes to a positive and energetic shopping environment.
This is a part-time position (15–30 hours per week) offering the opportunity to develop retail, customer service, and sales skills while working with a team that is passionate about sports and serving the local community.

Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Help customers find products that best fit their needs.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions.
- Answer customer questions in person and over the phone.
- Assist with buying and processing used sporting goods.
- Stock shelves and maintain organized, attractive merchandise displays.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and counting merchandise.
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and inviting.
- Support overall store operations and contribute to team goals.
- Learn about sporting goods and provide product recommendations to customers.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Friendly and professional phone etiquette.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Comfortable handling cash and performing basic math calculations.
- Ability to learn and apply sales and upselling techniques.
- Prior retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
- Interest in sports and sporting goods is a plus.
