Sailing Instructor for Summer Camp Jobs in Lafayette, CA at Adventure Day Camp
Job Overview:
Adventure Day Camp is looking for experienced, fun, and reliable Sailing Instructors for our traditional summer camp program. Successful applicants will join a crew of 5-6 other adults, teaching sailing, canoeing, and kayaking at the San Pablo Reservoir in Orinda. This position will focus on SAILING. We sail smaller, 3-4 person boats such as J1 or Lido style boats. They are basic, beginner boats.
Requirements:
– Experience sailing J1 style small boats including rigging.
– Ability to offer basic instruction for campers ages 9-15.
– Experience working with children is preferred.
– Available from June 1, 2026 – July 26, 2026 Thursdays and Fridays, from approximately 9-4 each day. More hours and days are available if desired.
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
Experience:
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
