Advance Physical Therapy in Quincy, IL is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst who will be responsible for evaluating, monitoring, and optimizing the financial workflows that support patient billing and reimbursement.
Core Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and build dashboards in tools like Excel.
- Denials Management: Investigate the root causes of claim delays, underpayments, and denials, recommending process corrections to reduce financial losses.
- Reimbursement Optimization: Model and track the financial impact of payor contract negotiations, fee schedule updates, and Charge Description Master (CDM) modifications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between billing, coding, finance, IT, and clinical staff to streamline operational workflows.
Qualifications
- Experience Required: Healthcare experience in billing, collections, accounts receivable, and insurance payer contracting required.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical coding (CPT, ICD-10), payer policies, and the end-to-end revenue cycle flow.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data sets into clear, actionable operational strategies.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across both clinical and administrative teams.
