Retail Area Manager Jobs in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India at TVARRA

Title: Retail Area Manager

Company: TVARRA

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Company Description The person will own retail operations and expansion across South India. This is a field-first role involving frequent travel, store visits, vendor coordination, staff management, activations, stock supervision, and relationship management with retail partners, distributors, malls, and B2B accounts.

The Retail Area Manager will conduct regular store visits, analyze sales data, implement promotional activities, and coordinate with marketing and operations teams to improve in-store experience. The role also involves building relationships with retail partners, identifying expansion opportunities, and ensuring adherence to company policies and safety-focused brand messaging.

·      Oversee stocktaking, inward/outward stock movement, replenishment, and inventory accuracy.

·      Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure products, samples, accessories, and POS materials are available on time.

·      Track fast-moving SKUs, slow-moving SKUs, stockouts, damaged stock, and returns.

·      Ensure POS systems, billing processes, QR codes, payment flows, and reporting formats are functioning smoothly.

·      Share timely reports on sales, inventory, stock gaps, and store-level requirements.

4. Retail Expansion & Distribution

·      Identify, evaluate, and onboard new retail, distribution, and B2B opportunities across South India.

·      Build relationships with malls, retail chains, riding gear stores, lifestyle stores, bookstores, kids’ stores, dealerships, and other relevant partners.

·      Support negotiations, store fit-outs, display placement, commercial discussions, and pilot rollouts.

6. BTL Activations & Campaign Execution

·      Plan and execute BTL activations, store-level campaigns, mall activations, trial events, pop-ups, and local promotions.

·      Coordinate with vendors for stall setup, branding, print material, workforce, logistics, and campaign execution.

·      Ensure every activation has clear objectives, execution timelines, reporting formats, and performance tracking.

·      Capture on-ground customer feedback, objections, product insights, competitor inputs, and market trends.

·      Work with marketing teams to align offline campaigns with digital, WhatsApp, CRM, and retargeting efforts.

·      Follow through on commitments and ensure execution happens on the ground.

Good-to-Have

·      Experience in helmets, riding gear, automotive accessories, lifestyle retail, kids’ products, sports, fashion, or consumer electronics.

·      Experience handling mall stores, retail counters, pop-ups, promoters, or BTL activations.
