Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Reformer Pilates Instructor to join our dynamic fitness team! In this role, you will lead engaging and effective Pilates classes using reformer machines, helping clients improve their strength, flexibility, and overall wellness. Duties
- Lead Reformer Pilates classes with enthusiasm, ensuring proper technique and safety for all participants
- Design customized workout programs that incorporate principles of physiology, body mechanics, and anatomy to maximize results
- Educate clients on the benefits of Pilates, emphasizing core strength, flexibility, and injury prevention
- Incorporate diverse skills such as yoga, dancing, cycling, or sports coaching to enhance class variety and engagement
- Provide guidance on proper form during exercises, adjusting routines based on individual needs and fitness levels
- Promote a welcoming atmosphere that encourages group fitness participation and personal growth
- Support gym operations by maintaining equipment cleanliness and safety standards, ensuring a seamless class experience
Experience
- Proven experience teaching Reformer Pilates or other group fitness classes in a health club or gym setting
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics relevant to Pilates instruction
- Familiarity with program design tailored to diverse client needs and fitness backgrounds
- Background in related disciplines such as yoga, dancing, CrossFit, personal training, or sports coaching is highly desirable
- Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate and connect with participants of all ages and skill levels
- Knowledge of fitness sales techniques to promote memberships or class packages is a plus
- Certifications in Pilates instruction are required; additional certifications in Kickboxing, Yoga, or Cycling are advantageous
