As a Rink Guard, your key role is to monitor recreational skating activities while directing and controlling access to the facility. You will enforce safety measures, participating in special events planning and responding to incidents as needed. Active engagement with staff and visitors is essential to create an enjoyable atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and regulate all skating activities
• Ensure a safe skating environment for all users
• Direct access to the facility and programs
• Respond to incidents and manage emergencies
• Interact with staff and program participants
Requirements:
• Minimum age of 14 years
• Current Emergency First Aid certification required
• Experience with various age groups preferred
• Certification in Principles of Healthy Child Development (PHCD)
• Successful Vulnerable Sector Check completion
