Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging recreational gymnastics classes tailored to various age groups and skill levels
- Demonstrate proper techniques for basic gymnastics movements, flips, rolls, and balance exercises
- Monitor participants’ progress, provide constructive feedback, and encourage continuous improvement
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure all equipment is used correctly to prevent injuries
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence
- Collaborate with other fitness instructors or coaches to organize special events or themed activity days
- Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate with parents or guardians regarding participant progress
Qualifications
- Prior experience in sports coaching, teaching, or working with children in a recreational setting
- Knowledge of gymnastics fundamentals and safety standards
- Strong behavior management skills with the ability to motivate young participants
- Background in childcare or working with students in health clubs or gyms preferred
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
