Position: Recreation Coordinator for Military Deployments
Coordinate exciting recreational programs for Canadian Armed Forces personnel during a six-month international deployment. This role focuses on planning activities, ensuring safety compliance, and engaging participants.
As a Recreation Coordinator, your mission is to deliver fulfilling recreation services to members of the Canadian Armed Forces and partner nations. You’ll plan and execute activities and events, provide guidance on recreation policies, and oversee volunteer support. Your organizational skills will be vital in maintaining schedules and ensuring the safety of participants during events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute recreational activities and excursions
• Provide briefings on recreation policies and procedures
• Maintain event calendars and participant registration
• Oversee recreation clubs and manage volunteer activities
• Conduct safety briefings and enforce risk management practices
Requirements:
• Acceptable education and experience combination
• Valid driver’s license and Canadian citizenship
• Experience coordinating recreational activities
• Ability to conduct safety briefings
• Willingness to gain Standard First Aid certification
