Bocaire Country Club is seeking a polished, energetic Racquets Professional to join our racquets team and deliver an exceptional, member-focused tennis and pickleball experience. This is a high-visibility role within a premier private club, ideal for a professional who thrives in a relationship-driven environment and takes pride in building strong member engagement.
Position Overview
The Racquets Professional will be responsible for providing high-level instruction, supporting daily tennis and pickleball operations, and contributing to the overall growth and energy of the racquets program. This individual will play an integral role in enhancing the member experience both on and off the court.
Key Responsibilities
* A college degree or equivalent preferred
* Provide private, semi-private, and group tennis and pickleball instruction for all ages and skill levels
* Lead and assist with adult clinics, leagues, and team practices
* Actively engage with members to build relationships and encourage participation in programming
* Assist in organizing and executing tournaments, social events, and club championships
* Support the development and growth of the club’s tennis and pickleball programming
* Deliver a high-touch, service-oriented experience consistent with a luxury private club environment
* Maintain a visible and professional presence on court, in the pro shop, and throughout the club
* Assist with pro shop operations, court scheduling, and daily administrative tasks as needed
* String racquets for members and assist with general racquet services as needed
* Perform light court maintenance as needed, including court setup, cleanup, and ensuring courts are in excellent playing condition
* Promote racquets programs and lessons to drive participation and revenue
Qualifications
* Prior experience as a Tennis Professional in a club, resort, or academy setting – minimum of 3 years of experience instructing or coaching, preferably in a club or sports facility setting
* USPTA or PTR certification preferred
* Strong playing background with the ability to demonstrate technique and strategy
* Knowledge of pickleball and experience participating in or assisting with pickleball programming strongly preferred
* Experience working with both adult and junior players
* Outgoing personality with a natural ability to connect with members
* Professional, polished, and team-oriented approach
* Flexible schedule including weekends and seasonal demands
Reporting Structure
* Reports to the Director of Racquets

Benefits
Benefits are available the 1st of the month after 60 days of service.
The Club currently pays 100% of individual base medical plan, Life, STD and LTD. Dental and Vision plans are available as elective plans.
401k is available after 6 months of service with up to 3% match for 4% contribution. 100% Vesting after one year of service.
One week vacation (5 days) after one year of service and 6 personal days earned .5 days per month.
Pay: $17.00 – $23.00 per hour
