Pre-school Tumbling Coach Jobs in Atlanta at It’s Tumbling Time
Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and passionate Pre-school Tumbling and Cheerleading Coaches for kids ages 2-12.
The role is simple and fun… You will travel to our school partner locations and teach the cutest kids tumbling, cheernastics or even dance classes if that program is available at the school. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on early childhood development while honing your coaching expertise.
Duties
- Lead engaging tumbling and cheernastics (Cheer and Tumble) classes, focusing on basic tumbling skills, flexibility, coordination and safety. (Opportunity to add dance classes at some locations)
- Follow and create age-appropriate lesson plans that promote physical activity, coordination, balance, and confidence.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including proper spotting techniques and equipment checks.
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages teamwork, positive behavior, and self-esteem among young learners.
- Communicate effectively with It’s Tumbling Time management and school partners.
Qualifications
- Final candidates must successfully complete fingerprinting and receive a satisfactory background-check determination through Bright from the Start/Georgia DECAL before being assigned to teach at a partner school.
- Must be available to travel to one or more school locations in the following areas: Atlanta, Lawrenceville, Canton, Duluth, Ellenwood, Grayson, Johns Creek, Jonesboro, Lilburn, Marietta, McDonough, Alpharetta, Murraryville, Roswell, Newnan, Austell, Tyrone
- Prior experience working with children in a sports or educational setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with sports-specific training instruction such as gymnastics, cheerleading, tumbling or dance is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, teachers, and management.
- Team leadership qualities with a passion for childcare, fitness instruction, and fostering young children’s development.
