Responsibilities
- Design and deliver dynamic Pilates classes tailored to various skill levels, ensuring proper technique and safety.
- Conduct one-on-one or small group training sessions focused on core strength, flexibility, and posture correction.
- Assess clients’ fitness levels and develop customized workout programs that align with their goals and physical capabilities.
- Educate clients on body mechanics, physiology principles, and injury prevention techniques to optimize results.
- Maintain a clean, organized studio environment and ensure all equipment is used safely and appropriately.
- Track client progress, provide feedback, and adjust programs as needed to promote continuous improvement.
- Promote a welcoming atmosphere that motivates clients to stay committed to their fitness journey.
Skills
- Proven experience teaching Pilates in a gym or health club setting with strong group fitness skills.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics essential for safe instruction and program design.
- Ability to incorporate diverse movement disciplines such as yoga
- Excellent communication skills for effective teaching and client engagement.
- Familiarity with fitness sales techniques to encourage class participation and personal training upgrades.
- Passion for health and wellness with additional expertise in sports coaching or personal training preferred.
- Certifications in Pilates instruction are required; additional certifications in yoga, dance, or sports coaching are advantageous.
