Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Pilates Instructor to lead engaging and effective Pilates classes that inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals. In this role, you will design and deliver dynamic Pilates sessions tailored to a diverse range of participants, fostering a motivating environment that promotes strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients improve their body mechanics, posture, and core stability while enjoying a positive and empowering fitness experience. Responsibilities
- Lead group Pilates classes with clear instruction, demonstrating proper techniques and modifications for all skill levels
- Develop customized Pilates programs that incorporate principles of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics to optimize results
- Motivate participants by creating an energetic atmosphere that encourages progress and confidence
- Ensure safety by monitoring proper form and providing corrections to prevent injury during exercises
- Collaborate with team members to plan diverse fitness classes, including related disciplines such as yoga, dance, or sports coaching when appropriate
- Promote class attendance and engagement through effective communication of class benefits and health tips
- Maintain a clean, organized studio environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and set up for each session
Experience
- Proven experience teaching Pilates in a group or one-on-one setting within a health club or gym environment
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics as they relate to movement training
- Familiarity with program design tailored to different fitness levels, including beginners and advanced clients
- Background in other fitness disciplines such as yoga, cycling, CrossFit, personal training, or sports coaching is highly desirable
- Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups while maintaining professionalism and clarity
- Knowledge of fitness sales techniques to promote ongoing client engagement and membership growth is a plus
- Certifications in Pilates instruction are required; additional certifications in group fitness, yoga, or related areas will be advantageous
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
