Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is clean and functional.
- Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks as directed by the therapist.
- Maintain patient records and documentation accurately.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions and concerns.
- Support the team in maintaining a safe and organized environment.
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities as needed.
Skills
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist in patient care effectively.
- Familiarity with orthopedics, acute care, and inpatient/outpatient settings is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to deliver excellent patient service.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on enhancing the patient experience.
- Willingness to learn about various therapeutic techniques and equipment usage.
