We are an outpatient sports orthopedic clinic that specializes in Physical Therapy, massage, and fitness services. Our clientele are active and diverse. JOB DESCRIPTION: The PT Aide’s primary purpose is to lead patients through their exercise programs, with a keen eye for correct form. Physical Therapy Aide job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists on patient care
- Demonstrate and direct patients safely through exercise programs
- Use therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and e-stim
- Document exercises in electronic medical records
- Assist with maintaining a comfortable, clean and well-stocked clinic
SUCCESSFUL TEAM MEMBER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Passion to help others with their injury recovery and fitness
- Ability to listen to clients with empathy
- Strong skills in time management and multi-tasking
- Interest in pursuing a career in healthcare or fitness
- Experience with athletics, health or wellness
- Experience with Physical Therapy is a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and/or kinesiology
- Passion for growth and excellence
COMPENSATION: Starting pay is typically $20 – $23 per hour, plus employee perks such as discounted services, excellent work environment, gym membership and retirement plan. Paid time off and health benefits are available for full-time staff. Performance reviews are conducted quarterly to allow for growth and increased earning potential.
