Elite outpatient, orthopedic, physical therapy clinic currently seeking a full-time PT technician/aide to join our practice in DTLA. Heads up: This job is best for those looking to pursue the DPT program. There is much to learn, and we work with you to create a schedule that works for both parties. And, who knows? This could be the place you come back to after you graduate.
The responsibilities and duties of a Physical Therapy Technician include, but are not limited to, the following:
– Teach, set up and supervise therapeutic exercises as per therapist instructions
– Practice regular communication with therapists to facilitate clinical flow
– Routine clinical maintenance
– Answer and place phone calls
– Collect payments and enforce proper scheduling of patients
Listed below are basic skills required:
– +1 year experience as an aide or in personal training
– Professionalism
– Exemplary customer service skills
– Team player
– Basic knowledge of exercise science, anatomy and physiology
– Computer savvy
– Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Sciences
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
