We are a very busy pool and land physical therapy clinic looking for an enthusiastic college graduate who intends to go to PT, PA, Medical, or Nursing school within the next two to four years. Our new PT Aide must have had anatomy and physiology with a good understanding of exercise. The person we hire will have some water experience, either as a swimmer, swim instructor, surfer, scuba diver, snorkeler, or lake or ocean lover.
Although experience as a PT Aide is not mandatory, it is preferred. Experience as an athlete or coach is a bonus.
This is a hybrid position – you will learn to excel both in treating patients in the pool AND in greeting them at the front desk, taking their co-pays, and scheduling them. The bright, cheerful person we hire will also have very strong computer skills – specifically navigating the internet and using Excel.
Our fast-paced clinic treats nearly 200 patients per day and requires someone who is on his or her toes, moves and thinks quickly and can keep up with our CEO who is currently running the clinic. If you can keep up with him, we would be amazed and grateful. He has FUN while solving all the problems that can happen at a front desk in a world-class pool and land physical therapy clinic.
With us, you will learn how to be a true health care professional even as you earn your prerequisites to gain entrance to grad school. Become an excellent PT Aide under the guidance of our 15 outstanding physical therapists who will then be able to write a recommendation for you to grad school.
Prerequisite: anatomy and physiology and must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
