Impact Physical Therapy is a growing, privately owned outpatient physical therapy practice serving the Hillsboro and Banks communities. We are committed to providing exceptional patient care in an environment that is welcoming, positive, and empowering. We are currently seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join our team at our Hillsboro and banks location. This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into full-time hours for the right candidate.
What You’ll Do
As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play an important role in supporting both our clinical and administrative teams while helping create an outstanding patient experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting patients through individualized exercise programs under the direct supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.
- Supporting treatment sessions by assisting with modalities and treatment-related tasks, such as ice or heat application, as permitted by state law.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe clinic environment through housekeeping duties, including:
- Laundry
- Sanitizing treatment tables and equipment
- Dusting and general clinic upkeep
- Assisting with front office responsibilities, including:
- Answering phones
- Scheduling appointments
- Collecting co-pays and deductibles
- Filing and faxing documents
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and team members.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Supporting special projects and other duties as assigned to help advance our mission and core values.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree or working on a degree in Exercise Science, Human Physiology, Biology, or a related field
- Previous experience in a physical therapy clinic, medical office, or healthcare setting
- Experience working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Current CPR certification
