** Job Description

Position Overview The Toronto Raptors Basketball club are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to support both the NBA team and its G League affiliate. This dual-role position is integral to optimizing player health, performance, and recovery. The successful candidate must be a team player and will be part of a multi-disciplinary medical and performance team that is highly collaborative both internally, and with coaches and front office.

Key Responsibilities Player Care & Treatment Evaluate, diagnose, and treat musculoskeletal injuries for both NBA and G League athletes

Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs tailored to each player’s needs

Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and advanced recovery modalities

Monitor player progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

Develop and execute injury prevention strategies in collaboration with medical and performance team Conduct movement assessments and biomechanical screenings

Assist with load management strategies and return-to-play protocolsIn
-season and off-season care of players

Collaboration & Communication Work closely with health and performance team which includes: team physicians, athletic trainers, physiotherapists, massage therapists, strength and conditioning coaches, dietician, and sports science.

Maintain clear and consistent communication regarding player care within medical team Document all treatments and maintain accurate medical recordsG League Integration Support the development of 2-way and assignment players

Ensure consistency in treatment philosophy and standards across both teams

Assist in transitioning players between G League and NBA levels seamlessly

Minimum Qualifications Bachelors, Master’s or Doctorate in physiotherapy from an accredited institution

Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Ontario Minimum 5 years of clinical experience

Strong expertise in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation

Experience with return-to-play protocols and performance integration

Valid Passport and able to cross the border

Preferred Qualifications Acupuncture or Dry needlingCSCS or…
