Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Sports Medicine Associates of South Forida, PA.
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our busy outpatient orthopedic medical office in Plantation. This is a great opportunity to work alongside an experienced team in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment dedicated to helping patients return to optimal function and mobility.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and orthopedic rehabilitation programs
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT
- Provide exceptional patient care and encouragement throughout treatment
- Maintain accurate documentation and treatment notes
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional therapy environment
Qualifications
- Valid Florida PTA license required
- Experience in orthopedic and exercise-based rehabilitation preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy medical office setting
- Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude
