Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses by providing therapeutic exercises and treatments.
Responsibilities:
– Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
– Monitor and document patients’ progress during therapy sessions
– Instruct and educate patients on exercises and activities to be performed at home
– Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
Skills:
– Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
– Knowledge of medical terminology
– Experience in outpatient settings
– Familiarity with orthopedic conditions and treatments
