Full-Time Physical Therapist – Inpatient Acute Care

Location: MonHealth in Morgantown, WV

Schedule: Full Time (Holidays & Weekend Rotations)

Location: Mon Health (MHMC) and HealthWorks in Morgantown, WV

HealthWorks, in conjunction with MonHealth, in Morgantown, WV, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist. Immediate hire! Previous experience is preferred. New graduate physical therapists are welcome to apply.
We have a large multidisciplinary team on staff at our 188-bed acute-care hospital. This is a full-time opportunity to treat our adult and geriatric population, 40 hours per week. You will be responsible for evaluation, treatment, and assistance with discharge planning of acute care patients.
Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am- 430 pm. We are open every day, except Christmas, and will require holiday hours on rotation.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete and maintain all corporate and clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations
  • Evaluate, treat, direct, and document treatment for patients
  • Maintain open and respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, family members and third-party payors
  • Attend/participate in center meetings as directed by the center manager

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
  • Current State physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
  • CPR certification
