212 Therapy is a Pediatric Home Care Company based in Beaumont, Texas servicing the Southeast Texas region. We offer Physical & Occupational & Speech Therapy for Children birth-21 years of age in patient’s homes as well as at our clinic facility.
Job Title: Pediatric Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
A registered professional who provides coordinated care to patients of pediatric age groups. Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans to restore or maintain patient well-being. Plans, organizes, and conducts physical therapy treatment program based on the medical referral and their evaluation. Participates in the coordination of care.
Job Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association approved program.
Licensure: Active state license as a physical therapist, or a multi-state license issued by a Physical Therapy Licensure Compact (PTLC) member state, or if licensure do not apply, meets one of the requirements listed in 42 CFR §484.115(h).
Experience: New Grads Welcome! One year of experience as a physical therapist in an acute care, rehabilitation, outpatient, or home health setting preferred, but not required
Skills: Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Good interpersonal skills. Proof of current CPR certification. Knowledge of durable medical equipment.
Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance. Must have current driver’s license.
Environmental and Working Conditions: Works in a healthcare facility or patients’/clients’ homes and/or clinic.
Physical and Mental Effort: The ability to do lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, and standing. Prolonged standing and walking required. Requires meeting documentation deadlines and patient/client needs, and to meet patient/client and family psychosocial needs. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
