We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys both direct patient care and hands-on procedural work in a cutting-edge medical environment.
Position Summary
The Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist will support clinical operations by performing traditional medical assistant duties while also assisting with regenerative medicine procedures. This role includes patient rooming, obtaining vital signs, administrative support, phlebotomy, specimen processing, and assisting with laboratory preparation for PRP and stem cell treatments.
While prior experience in regenerative medicine is not required, candidates must be comfortable drawing blood and eager to learn advanced procedural and laboratory techniques. We will provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.
Responsibilities/Clinical Duties
- Room patients and prepare exam and procedure rooms
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information
- Assist physicians and providers during patient visits and procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies
- Provide patient education and support before and after procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Phlebotomy & Laboratory Duties
- Perform venipuncture and blood draws with confidence and professionalism
- Process blood specimens according to established protocols
- Prepare platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and other biologic products for procedures
- Assist with laboratory workflows related to regenerative medicine treatments
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Follow sterile technique and infection-control protocols
Administrative Duties
- Assist with scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and clerical tasks as needed
- Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
- Coordinate patient records and documentation
- Support overall clinic operations and workflow efficiency
QualificationsRequired
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Excellent experience performing venipuncture and blood draws
- Medical Assistant experience or equivalent clinical healthcare experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered demeanor
Preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent certification
- Phlebotomy certification
- Experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, pain management, regenerative medicine, or procedural specialties
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
- X-ray certification is a huge plus, but not required

Pay: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour
