Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, promoting physical literacy and healthy lifestyles.
- Plan, assess, and track student progress in line with school and national expectations.
- Lead and support extracurricular sport, fixtures, and enrichment activities.
- Encourage participation, teamwork, and personal development through a wide range of physical activities.
- Maintain excellent behaviour management and uphold safeguarding standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and pastoral teams to support student wellbeing and achievement.
Pre‑requisites
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Physical Education.
- Experience teaching PE at secondary level; strong ECTs are encouraged to apply.
- A passion for sport, fitness, and inspiring young people to be active.
- Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to professional development and reflective practice.
