Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced PE Teacher to join our team in August 2026.
As a PE Teacher, you will:
- Teach and inspire students across various physical education activities and sports, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
- Develop and implement an engaging, ambitious, and inclusive PE curriculum aligned with the International British Curriculum standards.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and teamwork.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other subjects and whole-school initiatives.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during PE lessons and activities.
- Maintain and manage PE equipment and facilities effectively.
Skills
Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field, with a recognized teaching qualification/license.
- Strong subject knowledge in PE, sports, and health education.
- Experience teaching PE across whole school.
- Ability to coach and lead a variety of sports and physical activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues.
- Commitment to promoting student wellbeing, inclusion, and participation.
- Minimum of two years’ teaching experience in a relevant subject/age group.
- Competency in using ICT to support teaching, learning, and assessment.
