Patient Services Representative Jobs in Newport News at HROSM
HROSM is seeking a PRN Patient Services Representative for night work for our busy (high-volume) Newport News location. Must be able to work 4:30pm-9:00pm M-F, days of the week and shifts vary based on need.
Duties will be but not limited to the following:
- Entering patient demographic information
- Verifying insurance in-network status, ensure all referrals are received
- Checking eligibility and benefits
- Collecting co-pays and balances on accounts
- Provide necessary paperwork to all incoming patients as applicable
- Scanning registration paperwork into EMR
- Scheduling appointments and printing orders
Requirements:
- Must be able to work between 4:30pm and 9:00pm M-F
- 2+ years of front medical office experience required
- Must have strong working knowledge of insurances, E&B and authorizations
- Experience with Office365 required
- Experience with NextGen PM (preferred but not required)
- Fast learner with strong IT skills
