We are looking for a full-time Patient Service Coordinator who shares these values and wants to be part of a practice that takes both patient care and workplace culture seriously.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients — in person and by phone — creating a welcoming experience
- Assist patients with digital check-in
- Collect copays, balances, and process patient payments by phone
- Schedule patient appointments
- Process incoming referrals
- Confirm insurance benefits
- Oversee medical record requests
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday from 8 AM-5PM and Friday from 8 AM-2:30 PM.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in a medical office setting
- Friendly, welcoming demeanor with strong customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an orthopedic and/or podiatry practice
- Familiarity with AthenaHealth
- Experience with medical billing
Compensation:
$16-22/hour based on experience
