Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-out procedures, ensuring a positive impression.
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments using medical office software.
- Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and medical history accurately.
- Obtain authorization for the test done in the office
- Provide clear explanations of treatment procedures and answer patient questions with professionalism.
- Support medical staff by preparing patient charts, updating records, and managing documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointment reminders, follow-up care instructions, and billing inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organized front office environment to promote efficiency and comfort for all visitors.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a medical office setting is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately understand and communicate clinical information.
- Proven ability to provide excellent medical administrative support with attention to detail.
- Office experience demonstrating proficiency in scheduling software, electronic health records (EHR), or similar systems.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic approach that puts patients at ease.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
