About Mugica Sports:

Mugica Sports is a Miami based sports and talent agency operating across athletes, talent, and live events. Our events practice builds and sells brand partnerships around major live sports and entertainment moments, including marquee football events, fan festivals, and cultural activations that draw global audiences and broadcast exposure. With the 2026 FIFA World Cup on home soil across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, brands are allocating once in a generation experiential and sponsorship budgets right now, and we are hiring closers to capture them.

The Role:

As Partnerships Lead, Events, you run the full sponsorship and partnership cycle for our events portfolio. You research sponsor categories, build qualified brand target lists, send personalized outreach, run follow ups, and drive conversations all the way to a signed partnership. You will pitch real assets, including title and official partner tiers, on site activations, branded placement, and integrated campaigns. When a brand is ready, you bring in the CEO for strategy, but you are the face of the pitch. You will not do this alone. You will work alongside a team chasing the same goal, in an environment built for competitive tension, where everyone pushes each other to source harder, close faster, and raise the bar. The events, the proposals, the sponsor target lists, and the CRM are already built. Your job is to take that infrastructure and turn it into signed partners.

What the Role Involves:

  • Research on each event and sponsor category, covering audience, fit, activation angle, and budget cycles
  • Building and maintaining a target list of qualified brand sponsors per event
  • Personalized outreach to brand decision makers such as Head of Sponsorship, Brand and Experiential Marketing, and CMO
  • A disciplined follow up cadence across email and LinkedIn
  • Responding to interested brands, building rapport, and securing meetings
  • Preparing and presenting partnership proposals, with support on strategy and close
  • Coordinating sponsor deliverables and activations through to execution on site
  • Logging every touchpoint on Salesforce same day
  • Representing Mugica Sports professionally with brands, agencies, and partners, including at events

Who We're Looking For:

You are hungry, coachable, and ready to get after it. Prior sponsorship experience is a plus but not required, since you will be trained directly on how to pitch, negotiate, and close. What matters most:

  • A self starter who can run high volume outreach independently and stay organized
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the confidence to reach out to brand decision makers
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, founder led startup environment, and motivated by competition
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred, given our events and brand targets
  • Based in or able to work Miami time hours, and available to be on site at events

Compensation:
