Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach
Penn State Greater Allegheny has an immediate opening for the position of Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach. The position is part‑time, 9‑month appointment reporting to the Director of Athletics.
Work Location
Approval of remote and hybrid work is not guaranteed regardless of work location.
Job Duties
- Responsible for the organization and administration of all phases of a comprehensive soccer program.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Successful background in coaching and playing experience preferred.
- Ability to effectively motivate student‑athletes, commitment to high academic standards, healthy lifestyles, demonstrated leadership skills, manage team dynamics, and comply with NCAA regulations.
- May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
- Evidence of the ability to build a winning program consistent with the values of NCAA Division III and the mission of Penn State Greater Allegheny is required.
- Understanding of and commitment to NCAA, PSUAC, and USCAA Rules and Regulations is required.
Background Checks / Clearances
This position requires PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check, and a valid driver’s license with successful completion of a motor vehicle records check.
