Position
Assistant Coach, Men’s Baseball – part‑time (onsite, Manchester, NH)
Responsibilities
- Participate in the leading and execution of preseason and season practices.
- Help monitor conditioning programs.
- Provide input as to the evaluation of the athlete’s performance and progress.
- Evaluate opponents’ performance and scouting.
- Ensure the peak performance of athletes during games.
- Help recruit prospective student athletes.
- Participate in planning for events including fundraising or other special functions.
- Drive University vans to and from practice, games, playoffs, and coaching meetings.
- Attend the annual athletic awards banquet, any NE‑10 conference meetings, all‑star balloting or voting meetings, and all SNHU Athletic Department meetings.
- Work with the Head Coach in all facets of the program in accordance with NCAA and SNHU rules and regulations.
- Develop a working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; pass the NCAA Certification exam if recruiting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 1+ years of collegiate baseball coaching experience.
- Knowledge, observance, and commitment to all rules and regulations of the College, NE‑10, ECAC, and NCAA.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to transport student athletes.
Compensation
Hourly pay range: $14.43 – $23.10. Actual offer based on skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Target hiring range: $15.95 – $21.58.
