We are seeking an energetic and dedicated P.E. Teacher / High School Basketball Coach to inspire students through physical education and athletic excellence. Duties
- Deliver engaging physical education lessons focused on fitness, health, and sports skills tailored to high school students
- Plan and execute basketball practices, develop game strategies, and lead teams during competitions
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive behavior among students both in class and during athletic events
- Implement behavior management techniques to maintain a safe and respectful learning environment
- Incorporate various sports such as volleyball, basketball, soccer etc curriculum activities to diversify student engagement
- Monitor student progress in physical fitness and athletic skills, providing constructive feedback and encouragement
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities.
Skills
- Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly basketball.
- Strong background in teaching physical education at the high school level
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies to foster discipline and respect
- Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
- Ability to lead childcare activities related to sports programs
- Excellent communication skills to motivate students and collaborate with staff
- Passion for promoting health, fitness, and active lifestyles among youth
