Overview
A high‑volume multispecialty clinic with locations requiring travel between Brooklyn, Queens and Northern New Jersey is seeking a Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeon to provide comprehensive musculoskeletal and sports‑related care in a fast‑paced outpatient environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient evaluations for acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries
- Perform in‑office procedures including injections, aspirations, and ultrasound‑guided treatments
- Develop treatment plans tailored to athletes and active patients
- Interpret imaging including X‑ray, MRI, and ultrasound
- Collaborate with specialists across orthopedics, PT, pain management, and primary care
- Manage high patient volumes efficiently while maintaining quality of care
- Document clinical encounters accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide patient education on injury prevention and rehabilitation
- Participate in care coordination with internal and external providers
Qualifications
- Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) or the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery (AOBOS).
- Active NY and NJ medical license
- Experience in high‑volume outpatient settings preferred
- Proficiency in musculoskeletal procedures including ultrasound‑guided techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multispecialty team
- Commitment to patient‑centered care and evidence‑based practice
Pay range and compensation package
Salary: $450,000 annually
