Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and friendly Orthopedic Medical Assistant to join our team. You will help support our providers and care for patients with bone, joint, and muscle conditions. All dayshift hours with no weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Room patients and take vital signs
- Assist providers during exams and procedures
- Prepare and clean exam rooms
- Update patient records in the system
- Chart prep for upcoming appointments
- Apply and remove splints, braces, or casts (training provided if needed)
- Answer patient questions and provide basic instructions
Requirements:
- Medical Assistant certification preferred (not always required)
- Experience in orthopedics is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly and professional attitude
