Role Description The Operations Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Makfit in Baku. This position oversees daily club operations, including facility readiness, staff scheduling, and adherence to service standards across fitness, spa, pool, padel courts, and dining areas. The Operations Supervisor monitors member flow, resolves issues promptly, and coordinates with front desk, trainers, housekeeping, and food & beverage teams to ensure a smooth, high-quality experience. Responsibilities include tracking operational performance, implementing process improvements, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols, and supporting staff training and development. The role also involves clear communication with management, preparing operational reports, and contributing to initiatives that enhance member satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, performance monitoring, and staff development.
- Candidates should possess Operations and Operations Management skills to oversee daily club activities, optimize workflows, and maintain service standards.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret operational data, identify trends, and support data-informed decision-making.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for clear interaction with members, staff, and management, both verbally and in writing.
- Relevant experience in hospitality, fitness, wellness, or club operations, with knowledge of health, safety, and customer service best practices.
- Ability to work on-site in Baku with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to improving member experience.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Hospitality Management, Sports Management, or a related field is preferred.
