Non-Certified Snowboard Instructor (Winter Seasonal 2026/2027)

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $20.00/hr
  • Pay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may earn more with additional teaching incentives.
  • Employment Type:

    Winter Seasonal 2026/2027

  • Shift Type:
    Part Time. Hours available. Full‑time instructors, a 40‑hour workweek is not guaranteed. Scheduled hours vary with business volume.
  • Minimum Age:
    At least 16 years of age.
  • Housing Availability:
    No.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Teach group and private lessons.
  • Work with guests of all ages, with a focus on children.
  • Deliver world‑class guest service.
  • Create a safe and fun learning environment.
  • Support all needs of the snow sports school: inclusive of scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment.
  • Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong snowboarders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Comfortable and competent snowboarding on groomed blue terrain.
  • Willing to work with guests of all ages and comfortable with children aged 3 and older.
  • Fluent communication in English.
  • Willing to work weekends/holidays and meet minimum scheduling requirements.
  • Comfortable being in snowboard boots for extended periods.
  • Placement contingent upon completing training and meeting minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.

As a Non‑Certified Snowboard Instructor, you can be a flexible employee working across multiple departments and roles to support the one‑resort mentality, including: lift experience, mountain activities, food and beverage support, base area operations, retail rental operations.

Additional Requirements for Hires Under Age 18:
Submission of a Parental Consent Form upon hire, along with other applicable documents required by state law such as a work permit, physician’s note, and/or proof of birthdate.

Background Check: The role requires background check clearances by the State of Pennsylvania, which must be completed before work can begin.
