Position: MYP Physical Education Educator Role

The role is pivotal in shaping students through a comprehensive physical and health education program and supports the athletics program. Ideal candidates have a rich background in teaching and a demonstrated passion for student development through sport.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create an effective inquiry-based physical education program
• Coach teams across various sports throughout the year
• Build strong relationships with students and their families
• Use technology to make learning engaging
• Document student progress clearly and communicate with parents
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent
• Certification from the BC Ministry of Education required
• Experience or training in physical education preferred
• Coaching certifications for Southpointe sports is an asset
• Valid First Aid Certificate is a must
