Job Overview

Multi‑Sports Coaches are responsible for the delivery of a high‑quality and safe school‑holiday experience for a group of 16 children. You will hold specific responsibility for programme delivery, leading structured sports sessions (30‑60 minutes each), whole‑camp activities, and weekly events from a pre‑designed timetable. The welfare of the children is paramount: you will supervise children during breaks, participate in swimming sessions, oversee the safe use of equipment, promptly report any concerns related to children’s welfare, and implement behaviour‑management and safety procedures.

We deliver high‑quality sports camps with the Kings Factor®, which means you will be expected to be active and on your feet, modelling best practice and providing high‑energy, inclusive activity sessions.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5:30 pm. Hours vary depending on the ages and numbers of children attending. Full‑season availability is preferred, with a minimum of three consecutive weeks during the summer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured sports sessions from the pre‑designed timetable.
  • Lead whole‑camp activities and weekly events.
  • Supervise children during breaks, swimming sessions, and equipment use.
  • Implement child‑protection, safeguarding, health‑and‑safety, and behaviour‑management procedures.
  • Ensure a high‑quality, inclusive, and safe environment for all children.

Required Experience

  • 6–12 months’ experience working with children, most recent within the last 12 months.
  • Experience in sports coaching or leading games and activities.
  • Knowledge and experience of child protection, safeguarding, and health and safety.

Required Qualifications

  • A level + qualification (or equivalent) in sports coaching, PE, childcare, or primary/secondary education.
  • Paediatric first aid trained (or willing to train).
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
