Fernie Alpine Resort is looking to fill the position of Mountain Bike Coach. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, mountain bike coaching certification and will be a team player. You Will:
Ensure a safe, comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
Provide nonstop excellence in guest service
Instruct, coach and guide guests of all ages, beginner to advanced riders
Provide lesson ability reports & relevant administration forms as required
Knowledge and adherence to the Bikers Responsibility Code
General on hill tasks and maintenance as required
Acting as ambassadors and hosts at various functions for the resort on and off the hill
Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
To perform other tasks and duties that are applicable
You Have:
PMBIA certification (or equivalent) Level 1 minimum requirement
Mountain bike coaching experience an asset
Excellent interpersonal skills
Thrives working in a team environment
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive wage: $22.00-$26.00/hour dependent on experience
