Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Medical Assistant with a Basic X-ray Machine Operator license to support our orthopedic physicians with patient care, clinical procedures, and efficient clinic flow. This role is fast‑paced, hands‑on, and essential to delivering excellent patient care. Duties
- Room patients, take vitals, complete histories, and document in EMR
- Maintain smooth patient flow and assist physicians with procedures
- Remove/apply casts and splints; remove sutures/staples
- Draw up/administer injections under protocols; perform phlebotomy
- Order x‑rays per protocol and prepare surgical packets
- Fit DME and provide patient instructions
- Manage patient phone calls and document all communication
- Clean/stock exam rooms and sterilize instruments
- Operate basic X-ray equipment safely and accurately following aseptic techniques and radiation safety protocols
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations by capturing high-quality images for interpretation by physicians
Qualifications
- 2+ years medical experience (clinic or hospital) is a plus but NEW GRADS are encouraged to apply
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control
- EMR experience; 30+ wpm typing
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work independently
- Casting/splinting experience preferred
- Florida Basic X‑Ray Machine Operator (BXMO) license is a plus

Pay: $15.00 – $24.00 per hour
