We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and organizational skills. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, assisting with procedures and helping to maintain a clean and safe environment. Additionally, the Medical Assistant will provide administrative support to the medical staff, such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians in providing patient care.
- Greet and register patients, obtain vital signs, and update patient records.
- Schedule appointments and tests for patients.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, answering phones, and scheduling appointments.
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments as directed by the physician.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide patient education on medical topics such as medications, treatments, and preventive care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
