Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of engineers and innovators? Ustar STEM Lab LLC is seeking a dedicated mechanical engineering coach to join our growing education team. We are a leading STEM enrichment center offering hands-on learning in robotics, engineering, and coding for K-12 students.
What You’ll Do
– Teach and mentor students (elementary to middle school) in mechanical design and robotics
– Guide competitive robotics teams (e.g., VEX IQ, VEX VRC, FLL) through build and strategy
– Lead engaging workshops and classes in mechanical engineering
– Support student teams in regional and national competitions
Qualifications
– Strong foundation in mechanical engineering
– Experience with robotics competitions (VEX IQ, VEX VRC, FLL, or FTC) a plus
– Ability to work with students in a hands-on, team-based environment
– Passion for education, mentoring, and STEM outreach
✅ Preferred
– College students majoring in mechanical engineering or professionals with mechanical engineering experience
– Former robotics team members or coaches highly preferred
– Has VEX VRC/IQ or FLL robotics experience
