About the Role:

Our company is looking for a highly motivated and passionate Marketing Executive to support our marketing operations for internationally recognized sports and action brands. The ideal candidate will possess strong marketing and communication skills, experience in sports marketing, social media marketing and event management, and an interest in the sports industry. The Marketing Executive will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing campaigns, managing social media and brand communications, coordinating events, sponsorships and expos and supporting retail and trade marketing activations. The position requires collaboration with global brand partners, media, agencies and internal teams (sales, logistics etc) to ensure the successful implementation of marketing initiatives. The candidate will also be responsible for managing the company’s sponsored athletes.

The role is based in our headquarters in Athens, and reports to the Head of Marketing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive sales, and maintain brand consistency across multiple sports and lifestyle brands.
  • Organize and execute a variety of events, including trade and consumer expos, product launches, sponsored events, and community initiatives, handling all aspects of event planning, budgeting, logistics, sponsorships, vendor coordination, and on-site management.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive event marketing plans, including digital marketing campaigns, social media management, and PR initiatives.
  • Plan and implement social media strategies (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), increasing engagement and follower growth through content creation, scheduling, and performance analysis. Support digital marketing efforts, including content creation and social media ad campaign management.
  • Draft and oversee press releases, marketing copy, and editorial content, and distribute PR and marketing materials to media partners.
  • Gather, organize, and manage marketing assets.
  • Manage and collaborate with athletes to develop seasonal marketing campaigns, ensuring optimal budget allocation per brand and athlete.
  • Work closely with our retail team to develop and execute in-store promotional campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives, and creating customized marketing materials such as digital banners and point-of-purchase displays for retail and e-commerce partners.
  • Develop and execute in-store and digital marketing campaigns with our trade partners and Key Accounts
  • Support the management of our company’s corporate website and LinkedIn page, ensuring content is up-to-date and aligned with marketing objectives. Maintain website updates and design content using WordPress and Figma.
  • Use ERP systems like EBS (Entersoft Business Suite) for process optimization and inventory management.
  • Support additional marketing activities and projects as assigned by the marketing department lead.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar marketing role, preferably within the sports industry.
  • Proficiency in social media management, including experience with Meta Ad Manager and content planning tools.
  • Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken) is required.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Canvas is a must. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere will be considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of website management tools (WordPress, Figma) is an advantage.
