The College Sports Commission (“CSC”) is seeking a hard-working, organized, and detail-oriented individual to serve as the Manager, Operations & Executive Support. This position will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and combines duties traditionally assigned to an executive assistant with wider responsibilities across the organization. The position will also work under the direction of the CSC’s Head of Operations.
The landmark settlement in House v. NCAA allowed student-athletes to benefit financially from their participation in intercollegiate athletics. The CSC was established as the designated enforcement entity overseeing compliance with the new rules stemming from the settlement on third-party name, image, and likeness deals, revenue sharing between schools and student-athletes, and roster limits.
The CSC requires employees to work four days per week in-person at its office in Tysons Corner, Virginia, and one day per week remotely.
Responsibilities
Operations
- Provide executive support to the CEO, including calendar management, meeting preparation, and execution of special projects, with a heavy emphasis on creation of PowerPoint presentations and other meetings materials
- Prepare presentations and materials for meetings with conferences, executive leadership, and other key leadership sessions
- Manage communication with the CSC Board of Managers (“Board”), coordinate Board meetings, and draft minutes for the Board meetings
- Assume primary responsibility for new personnel onboarding, including recruiting coordination, interfacing with external information technology and human resources partners, and coordinating first-day access, readiness and logistics
- Serve as a central operational resource for the CSC office and liaison to the landlord, supporting administrative needs and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning
- Serve as a hub for general information requests, responding to and/or routing inquiries from institutions, conferences, student-athletes, and external stakeholders, and coordinating outbound communications to key stakeholders
- Collaborate with communications personnel to support website updates and distribute CSC communications
- Assist with financial operations, including coordination and processing of invoices and expenses, and support funding coordination
- Maintain and regularly update stakeholder contact databases, including institutional and conference points of contact

- Perform screening and review of NIL deals as needed, including open-source research and flagging of deals requiring additional review
- Participate in educational webinars for institutional stakeholders, including compliance offices and system users
Revenue Sharing & Roster Limits [CAPS]
- Participate in regular coordination efforts to ensure consistency and alignment in CAPS-related communications and decisions
- Support the annual opt-in/opt-out process for institutional participation in revenue sharing
Qualifications & Skills
- English fluency required
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Expert-level skills in PowerPoint, and strong skills in Word and Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and well-organized
- Demonstrated ability to manage deliverables with time-sensitive deadlines
- Self-motivated team player who knows college sports
- Strict adherence to confidentiality requirements
- Must be able, with or without accommodation, to perform essential position functions, which include, but are not limited to, thinking (concentrating, focusing, assimilating information), reading, writing, listening, typing, speaking, and sitting for extended periods
Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000
The salary range for this position is a good faith estimate based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs, and other considerations permitted by law. Starting salaries for new employees are frequently not at the top of the applicable salary range. The CSC offers a benefits package, including health insurance coverage (medical dental, and vision), 401(k) with employer match, and paid time off.
About the College Sports Commission
The CSC is an independent body established in 2025 to oversee and enforce compliance with rules governing student-athlete compensation in college sports, including institutional revenue sharing and third-party NIL agreements. Dedicated to the principles of fairness, integrity and opportunity, the CSC provides structure and accountability to ensure that student-athletes and institutions benefit from a transparent and equitable collegiate athletics system.
