Position: Lifeguard for City Pools
Be a key part of the City of Laval’s aquatic safety team as a Lifeguard at our local pools. You will conduct safety monitoring, assist with activities, and ensure compliance with regulations.
We are seeking a temporary Lifeguard for all pools in Laval from July 7 to August 9, 2026.
This role offers shifts during the day, evening, and weekends, focusing on user safety and pool operations. Candidates must hold a valid National Lifeguard certificate, ensuring safety and adherence to regulations while supporting pool activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure user safety at all times
• Maintain compliance with pool regulations
• Assist in organizing pool activities
• Perform maintenance and upkeep of equipment
• Administer first aid and report incidents
Requirements:
• Valid National Lifeguard certificate required
• Swimming Instructor certificate is an asset
• Lifeguard Instructor certificate is an asset
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work various shifts
