Join the Eileen Dailly Leisure Pool & Fitness Centre team as a Lifeguard and Instructor. This role involves lifeguarding, instructing, and maintaining aquatic programs for all ages.
As a Lifeguard/Instructor, you will engage in operational, instructional, lifeguarding, and janitorial tasks. This vital position enables the offering of inclusive aquatic programs while ensuring safety and excellence. You will collaborate with supervisors to maintain compliance and effective programming.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform lifeguarding and instructional tasks for all age groups
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the aquatic facility
• Consult with supervisors on program effectiveness
• Exercise tact and firmness with patrons
• Complete minor maintenance tasks as needed
Requirements:
• High school graduation or equivalent training
• Lifeguard and aquatic instruction certifications
• Knowledge of CPR and first aid practices
• Demonstrated aquatic skills at established standards
• Police Information Check required
