Responsibilities
- Vigilantly monitor pool areas to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies using certified lifesaving techniques such as CPR and first aid.
- Enforce safety rules and pool policies to maintain a secure environment for guests of all ages.
- Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, chemical testing, and equipment checks to ensure optimal water quality and safety standards.
- Deliver engaging swim lessons tailored to various skill levels, helping participants build confidence and improve their swimming techniques.
- Assist with pool upkeep by performing cleaning duties such as skimming, vacuuming, and maintaining pool surrounds to ensure a pristine environment.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, offering guidance on pool facilities, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate scheduling, safety drills, and emergency procedures to uphold the highest safety standards.
Qualifications
- We will train the right candidates. You must be able to pass a Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course.
- Decent swimming skills with the ability to perform rescue procedures confidently under pressure.
- Experience in swim instruction or teaching swimming or working with children is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling equipment or assisting guests with mobility needs.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance including chemical testing and basic cleaning procedures is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, proactive approach to guest service.

Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $17.50 – $22.00 per hour
